Composition
A Matter of ChoicesLearn basic composition and how to solve compositional problems using value, movement, balance and harmony — useful in landscape, still life or abstract work, with special attention to working from photos. Beginning to advanced students benefit.
Color
Color, Color, ColorDon’t be afraid of color — learn to use it to add light and imagination to your pastel paintings. Basic color theory every artist needs, with lectures, demonstrations and individual help.
Scheduling
Anne’s workshop sites have included the Batavia Art Guild, the Naperville Art League and the DuPage Art League. Recent sessions have included two-day weekend workshops (10–5 pm, $120 per student).
